There are Some Parts of the World that Still Value Privacy and Reject Government Intrusion in the Name of Security.

The high court of the European Union, The Court of Justice of the European Communities has held that the two agreements that provided the United States government with passenger name records which include 34 different types of data on each person, to be null and void. The justices held that there was no legal justification for such personal information to be given another government. The case was reviewed on request by the European Parliment that the high court review the the two agreements made with the United States by the European Commission and the European Council of Ministers.
